Tahsil Mirzapur is one of the biggest tahsil in the

district ;  having five development blocks and total

694 villages in all. Most off the villages are having

basic facility. This tahsil also having very reach

culture. Traditional style of singing a song during

July - August is known as "Kajari" is part of life

during that period in the district.
