Tahsil Chunar is the center of district Mirzapur. Anyone can go anywhere. Chunar is a major Railway Junction station of the district. The tracks leads to Howrah end, Delhi end, Tata Nagar end and Varanasi end. On the road Map National Highway No. 7  is passing through Chunar. This tahsil is having four developments blocks.
